Aura has two difficulty settings.
Easy Mode includes a weekly Scroll Pass and lets you remove Aura normally. It is the better place to start if you are still learning what to block and how much screen time to earn.
Hard Mode removes the Scroll Pass and early-unblock options. While a Hard Mode block is running, Aura uses Apple's app-removal restriction, so iOS will not delete the app. Turning Hard Mode off requires a sustained press and hold. Once it is off, Aura can be removed normally.
Apple controls the framework behind that restriction. Restoring the device, changing Screen Time settings, or a future iOS change can lift it.
If you reinstall Aura and sign in with the same account, your habits, streaks, and coins return.
