Yes, and we'd rather say so plainly.
Deleting Aura removes its restrictions, because iOS removes an app's blocking when the app goes. There is no version of a third-party blocker where that isn't true.
Easy Mode also gives you a Scroll Pass: one hour of unblocked apps, once a week. It exists because sometimes you genuinely need the thing you blocked.
Hard Mode takes the pass away. No early unblock, no weekly exception. The only way out is to earn the coins.
Aura isn't built to be a cage. It's built to make the easy path a deliberate one. Opening TikTok stops being a reflex and becomes a decision with a price: earn the coins, or delete the app and lose your streak. For most people that's enough, because the problem was never that they couldn't stop, it was that stopping required a decision they never actually made.
If you want something genuinely impossible to defeat, a physical blocker you have to carry is a different category of product and we'd honestly point you at one.
